Author’s Note
As a reader, approaching fiction requires trust. You have to suspend disbelief and invest energy to understand a world where reality is not stated simply, only implied. That’s asking a lot from a reader, especially when the writer has only offered a few installments of a new fiction series, and no explanation.

Here is where I explain myself.

In October, I began publishing a new short fiction series. The first installments of the series may appear to be disconnected meditations on death. But the apparently isolated characters are connected to their world by an invisible thread, and a shared plot soon begins to emerge.

So what is it about? That depends. If several characters die of natural causes, can it still be a murder mystery? And if we encounter deviant sexual behavior, dubious sci-fi claims, allegations of a government cover-up, and annoying Jungians who would like to tell us that this is all just an exploration of the archetypes of the Unconscious… what then?

Find out for yourself. I’ll be publishing a new installment about once per week. You can subscribe by RSS, follow me on Twitter, or check the website often.
